Lenovo S10-2 10-Inch White Netbook - 6 Cell Battery Review

Lenovo S10-2 10-Inch White Netbook - 6 Cell Battery
I purchased my Lenovo S10-2 in April ‘09. I’ve found it to be surprisingly useful. At home I use it extensively to surf the net and keep up on email. I no longer carry my larger laptop back and forth to work. I’ve loaded the little S10 with all of the same software as I use on my primary computer (MS Office Professional, Visio, Project, Adobe, etc.). It’s only a little slow to load the applications and works great in a pinch. I’d make it my primary computer, but the screen is too small and scrolling back and forth all day can be tiring. Still, it’s very handy for travel or when I don’t want to carry my larger laptop. It fits easily in my carry on and add about the same weight as a book. Keep in mind you’ll need also carry an external drive if you want to watch DVDs.

Samsung NC10-11GP 10.2-Inch Pink Netbook - 6 Cell BatteryReview by Amanda (Belfast, Maine USA)
Satisfied Rating (8/10)

I bought the Samsung NC10-11GP Pink 10.2inch netbook with 6 cell battery. I was happy that seemed suited all my needs with respect to pricing, features and style. When it came to my house, I was so excited to use it. The 2 things I found most disappointing about it … The mouse pointer (on the computer) .. extrememly It 'difficult to use, and the arrow goes all over the place, finally, before landing on the destination you want to click. (I go there and have more money to spend to buy a mouse), even though the description said it did not have the slideshow CD / DVD, I thought it was there at least a little 'more soldiers need to dispose of in computer, I thought everything. If wasent for color, I bought another laptop for the same price, it was a DVD-ROM. It allows buyers FYI ..

Toshiba Mini NB205-N312/BL 10.1-Inch Royal Blue Netbook - 9 Hour Battery LifeReview by L. Greene (Tampa)
Satisfied Rating (10/10)

This little man is powerful and easy to use. My only experience is with desktop computers and the transition was very smooth. I am satisfied with the quality of graphics and ease of use. Exceeded all my expectations. An excellent buy. But I'm 67 and my eyes need a larger screen. My next purchase will be a laptop-sized one of the largest screens I can. However, I am glad I bought the first Netbook. I find myself reaching more and more.

Most experienced PC players know exactly what they want in a gaming laptop, and those who have the time and money, probably already built their dream computer themselves, but if you are a little higher, around the field a little more enthusiastic about the smaller notebook footprint, or a little less comfortable with a do-it-yourself computer, you have to deal with these basic facts before purchasing your gaming laptop to be armed.

Toshiba Mini NB205-N313/P 10.1-Inch Posh Pink Netbook - 9 Hour Battery LifeReview by Helper (Florida)
Satisfied Rating (10/10)

I just got a new NB-205. Really like it so far. I noticed online that there were two BIOS upgrade, because my shipment from Amazon. I see 1.20 is the most recent (about a week old) is v.1.60. Has anyone updated their BIOS? No problems? There is no reason to do so, in the first place? Thank you. Please comment "post" to this review.

Almost all new laptops already have built more than a wireless transmitter and receiver unit on the motherboard or in a special port installed in the housing. If you want to use for adding an old wireless laptop, you can update quickly and easily, without splash out on a completely new machine.

Samsung NC10-11GP 10.2-Inch Pink Netbook - 6 Cell BatteryReview by Eric H. Edwards (East Falmouth, MA USA)
Satisfied Rating (10/10)

I bought it when the price was within my reach. Was one month, still wonder netbooks
and how practice is when they work well, which is Samsung.
The finger pad is easy to use, at least for me, but I use a mini-mouse as preferred however …
only the pain that I feel for the mouse to perform in a small side pocket (not a big problem).
I went to two gigs of RAM immediately … only for work above, probably
is not necessary, but fun to use this little thing as a standard computer.
Rosa is tasty, even for the kids …
Battery life is wonderful, not Glarey screen is bright, the keyboard of a good size (a plus)
fun to read my lap (download Gutenberg texts), does what I need, a pleasure to wear,
were added when I want a good sound, connected to the external DVD for kicking … Keepin 'it simple

The Fujitsu Lifebook U810 is one of the first mini-laptop computers on the market presented. This mini laptop is powered by Windows Vista. The Fujitsu mini-notebook can be used as a traditional notebook PC. The laptop screen can be positioned as a user wants. Fujitsu-screen can be twisted around and folded on the keyboard. The screen is very stylish and bright, it has clean colors.

Toshiba Mini NB205-N313/P 10.1-Inch Posh Pink Netbook - 9 Hour Battery LifeReview by Rami Sahalon (Brooklyn, NY)
Satisfied Rating (6/10)

I recently purchased the name "laptop through Amazon.com I get to cut to the chase and make a list and PRO CON.

PRO

1. The startup speed is good enough for a mini notebook. It's actually faster than my VAIO notebook full size.
2. Setting up the wireless was very easy. More difficult than in another computer.
3. Build quality seems good enough to be regarding laptops
4. Battery life should be excellent, although I only used w / charger to the wall.
5. The keyboard is a decent size given how small the notebook is usually … Some of the button placement, I have to get used to hearing.
** 6. Do not forget to visit Toshiba's Web site, because there are many updates available for this laptop. How much of a difference they make is doubt, but they are still there.
