I ordered my NC10 with the option of free shipping (1-2 weeks) and it arrived in 3 days! Pleasant surprise. E 'come with a small neoprene case, which is great to keep the stains away and in my case, footprints of a cat! I also ordered an external CD / DVD drive (Samsung, as well). I had an old leather case for DVD player and fits perfectly with the accessories, cables and my ext. hd.

Just got my netbook a couple of weeks ago and have not had the chance to test fully, but I would like the overall design. It 'easy and fast, and I like the battery life.

WOW! This Netbook Acer is faster and more portable than I thought. 7 + pounds I withdrew my HP laptop and this little gem does everything and more! Not a CD / DVD integrated, but if I had to read or write one, I can do my job or home network in any case. I did it for 3 weeks and have taken anywhere. The battery life is incredible, with the most recent 6-cell battery that comes with this model. It 'lasts until I'm ready to plug in the first bed, sometimes with the power of 50% after leaving the day.

It seems that all the netbooks are almost the same hardware. At least in this class of them.

They all come with ~ 160GB HDD, 10.1 or 10.2 inch screen (1024×586 or 1024×600) to 1.6 GHz Atom processor and 1GB of RAM .. All are equipped with small keyboards and decent battery life.

What does look beautiful. The glossy surface is sometimes difficult to maintain a good-looking (fingerprints. ..), but when it is cleaned up, no other netbook looks as good as this. It can not really thinner than any other in this class, but it seems more subtle, because the beveled edges on the back of the screen. Missing others have ExpressCard/34, but makes the USB port 3.

Works well. The design looks good. I put extra memory, change the original 1 gb for 2gb but I think Windows 7 is a little “heavy”.

The netbook Asus EEE PC1000E was a great way for computers to take a quick business trip. Small enough to actually use on a plane (in Economics), light enough to take on the meeting. Excellent battery life. The configuration of the keyboard was a bit 'strange and the Shift key should be much larger. But everything worked well. Defect: The sound from the small speaker in the unit is too weak, and metallic. The wireless antenna was not as strong as the Toshiba laptop I usually trust, but in hotels or at the meeting rooms, the reception was quite good. Gets a bit 'hot under the womb. Price level has been pretty good, although it was during the months that led me to decide to buy.
