I have a shiny new N-205. Really like it so far. I noticed that online there are two BIOS updates since the mine shipped from Amazon. I see 1.20, the most recent (about a week or so old) is v.1.60. Some have their BIOS upgrade? Any problems? No reason to do so, in the first place? Thank you. Please send a comment for this review.

The Toshiba netbook met all expectations, with the exception of the speaker with low volume and sound quality. I connect external speakers for music and movies.

LOVE this little machine! If I were a fact that the speaker is not strong enough to change, but work with a large cap. It started with 9.5 hours in battery saving mode of access. Managed to see two great films and made contact with delay after delay at the airport and the battery when I was much to my goal! I admit, the screen is very small for all the text important work, but does not cover all the windows without a hitch. 2G and I have to upgrade the memory, which seemed to make a difference. I would recommend this product to everyone! And if it fits well in my bag!

Pros: Thin, Light, Samsung Quality, Good Battery Life, Anti-Gare LED, Outside Power Button, Nice Chicklet Keyboard.
Ok: Junk speakers,.. all netbooks sound like crap anyway. Should have a subwoofer like the N120 Samsung.
Cons: N450 Atom with Window7 is slower then N270 with XP. 1GB ram is no good for Window7, Start up is slow.
Overall,.. I love this Samsung Netbook. Its a keeper.
Wow! 3 Cell battery give me about 5 hours normal use.
Will upgrade ram and hard drive soon.

Want to buy this if it comes with XP (Asus C'mon … you know better!)
Net book is impressive …. big screen. …. 2 GB of RAM
But wait, the hardware store in Vista?
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo …..
So I want to buy them! But we all know what it will be slow …
Now, when I came with XP, I would be a big, beautiful netbook scream out of the box.
(>.<) Dang. I think the downgrade to XP in some way?

I was a die-hard Mac person, let. My iBook hard drive died unexpectedly and suddenly and I was in trouble finding a computer I could start using quickly and easily. I also had to find a computer that was accessible in a short time (in other words, I have not had time to save money for a new Mac notebook, nor did I want to take a loan). A friend recommended 2 or 3 different brands, which is one. After doing some research I decided on the Netbook. I'm so happy! I never thought I'd "cross-over" on the PC-side, but I - even though I informed my die-hard Mac with the family … ssshhhhh 
I just modified my Asus EEE pc 1008ha, placed a 60GB SSD kingston drive, upgraded my RAM to 2GB from crucial and installed windows 7 32 bit (64bit is not supported by the processor). The gig now rocks and is really fast even with high end programs like photoshop. Anyone interested email me so i can guide you the whole process, you will lose warranty if you attempt this but if careful it is well worth the effort and risk

I bought this laptop to another dealer. I got this laptop for a week and I have no problems with it so far. E 'was great to work with. I really like its small, portable and lightweight. The reason why I decided to buy this laptop is so that I could take to school with me. It fits in my backpack. Overall I'm satisfied with this laptop.
