Vote - The Best Sony Mini Laptop
With this month release of the new Sony VAIO mini laptop - the P series (P for portable) "lifestyle PC" - a stunning eight-inch masterpiece with a weight of 638g and sporting Windows Vista, 3G mobile broadband, built-in GPS and Features from other areas of Sony, it raises the question - what is the best Sony VAIO mini-laptop?
Basically there are three main competitors:
Sony Vaio P Series - a new "lifestyle PC"
Sony VAIO TT-Series - The smallestBlu-ray Notebook
Sony VAIO SR Series - Award-winning laptop computer
Immediately each of them has problems. The P-series' incredibly small and light, has no optical drive (ie you CD / DVD-ROM), fast dual-core processor and the screen as well in its class is still limited. The SR series is a full 13.3 "notebook computer and not on the portability of the other two models - with a weight of three times as much as the VAIO P-series!
The TT missingSize can also be a negative for some. The keyboard, while the missing far removed from that of a 7-inch netbook, the size and the distance of a larger notebook or desktop computer. Sony, however, try spacing the buttons.
The SR-series, while good range as notebook series is easy to not own to compete with the portable mini-laptops like the Vaio TT, and P. There are also more computers in its size and price category as the MacBook Air are handy.
So betweenThe first two models, which is best suited on?
The VAIO TT-Series is the more complete model. It is a notebook that has been reduced nearly netbook with a large proportion of 11.1 "screen and weighs only 1.19kg shrunk - very similar, 10-inch netbooks. The VAIO P-series' strength lies in his name - P for portable mini-laptop. Sony says it is about the size of a large office envelope, so that it neatly in a jacket pocket or briefcase fit fine. It weighs almost half the weight of the VAIO TT (as we have previously pointed out, very fit for his class trim), but it can still use an 8 "screen 1600×768 Resolution (1024×600 in order for your daily Netbook comparison), up to 128 GB solid state memory and built-in GPS.
The two models have in common, they both run on Windows Vista and brand share features such as Sony Motion Eye webcam and graphics engine on the Sony Bravia HD-ready TV set range.
But ultimately it comes to personal preferences - so we want your opinion.
