Toshiba Mini NB205-N330BN 10.1-Inch Sable Brown Netbook - 9 Hours of Battery Life (Windows 7 Starter) Review

This is now previous generation model. I got it for well under 0. I still highly recommend it.
BTW, I upgraded mine to 2gig.

This purchase comes with a carrying pouch so you do not have to buy another one if you do not mind thin padding. After I have all the other games and unnecessary programs removed from the machine, this is absolutely the best machine to use daily. The mouse pad has the best feature that I did not see in other notebook. You can expand and scroll up and down the screen with the touch of your fingers. After this machine, I do not see myself going back to the big desk top or regular size laptop.

This is a great little machine for travel and checking email–surfing the web. It may be a little slower than a regular laptop, but the size and lightweight features make it worth any lag time. I wouldn’t want it as my only computer since I’m at the screen all day, but for travel and sporadic use, it can’t be beat. Love the keyboard.

I ordered the white one with windows xp, but it came with winows 7; I just didn’t bother returning it. I’ve used it for about a month and added a 2g ram.
pros: easy to carry
long battery life
non-glare screen
windows 7 is quite stable
cons: cpu is so slow
windows 7 is retarded
works ok with simle tasks
2g ram doesn’t improve that much
I only use it at school for essays; this is great for me because of its light weight and long battery life.
The Inspiron Mini 10 has best in class industrial design with integrated battery design in an adorable drift design. The combination of processor and battery technology delivers long battery life to keep the computer running from dawn to dusk. The netbook also has options that could keep you entertained with smooth watching of high definition video on a high definition screen.

I’m a student and bought this netbook for taking notes, battery life and portability. It has been wonderful. My only problem was with a faulty audio software install that made the headphone jack not function. A random reboot when trying to install printer software solved the problem. Also, the speaker is tiny and you can barely hear on full volume, so you definitely need external speakers/headphones for music or videos. The battery life is fantastic - it lasts anywhere from 6-8 hours, recharges quickly, and lasts for days when hibernating. The appearance is great, overall an excellent purchase for everyday use.

I just purchased this netbook after my previous Asus (the dependable S101) died b/c the screen was damaged by my own carelessness. So with that in mind, here’s my quick take on the 1005PE MU27 model, which I received yesterday.

I ordered this computer last week and have been very happy with it. I use it for video chatting, internet, and word processing. The Windows 7 Starter is nice and it gives you Word for 60 days for free. The webcam is nice and does the job on skype. I picked this netbook over others because of the keyboard. The keys are a bit more separated than other netbooks which I loved. I’ve had no trouble typing at all. The computer picked up my wireless internet right off of the bat, better than my old laptop did. The battery life is awesome…I have to plug it in every couple of days but that’s it. The screen does take a little getting use to as I’ve had to zoom in a few times to really see something when I’m online shopping, but I’d rather have that then be carrying around a huge heavy laptop with a shorter battery life.
