Had a ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PE-PU17-BK 10.1-Inch Black Netbook, almost DOA, Amazon was great returned it PostPaid no trouble so we bought this Toshiba Netbook, great machine, biggest reason its RAM is upgradeable very very easy….like falling of a log!
Long battery life, very nice looking, Amazon was great.
Only drawback would like to have had Win7 come on it but with two Gigs can buy that later.

  • 160 GB Hard Drive
  • Windows XP Home, 5800 mAh 6-Cell Battery

      I bought this to run Ubuntu, and is compatible. The only negative is the cooling fan. And 'strong and makes the internal microphone unusable when it detects noise. The touch pad is too sensitive, but can be converted Ubuntu. Overall I would recommend to anyone that this is entirely...

      An excellent product ... Be sure to upgrade to 2 GB of memory .. It 'been very slow when I was with 1 GB .. it works sooo much faster with 2 GB, you'll need an external CD / DVD drive to load the software and a wireless mouse is enjoyable.
It 'very easy to mistake the screw 2GB 1GB .. one....
